  • Saul is also offering one-to one individual sessions in voice, performance and confidence coaching, whether you have an important presentation at work (on Zoom or IRL) or you are preparing a wedding speech. £60 per hour.

Prices are £10 for a group playwriting or screen writing class, and a suggested donation of £5 if you are unemployed. One-to-one sessions cost £45.

Saul’s corporate rates for private tuition start at £90 per hour (with 3 in the group).

About

Saul Boyer is an actor, comedian and award-winning writer (RSC-Marlowe Other Prize 2014), who trained at ArtsEd and Cambridge University. The Director of ‘Unleash The Llama Productions’, which he founded in 2014 with Sam Rayner, he has written for stage, audio and is in the process of developing a screen-play with a prominent film production company. Recent writer-performer credits include: 'Jew...ish' (with Poppy Damon) which sold out its run at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The King's Head Theatre, London.

He wrote and starred in the 7-part narrative comedy series 'Panamax' (with Sam Rayner) for Apple Podcasts, alongside his sketch show, TüManz Tük18, which he wrote and performed at the Leicester Square Theatre in 2018. Saul has performed regularly at the Edinburgh festival since 2010 and is currently developing a comedy sitcom for Radio 4 with Gordon Kennedy at Absolutely Productions. He offers sessions in scriptwriting and how to write narrative and sketch comedy, focussing on classic scenes from TV, Film and Stage as a framework for your own writing.


Saul is also a tutor of nine years’ experience and has a degree in English Literature from Cambridge University. He has wide experience teaching students from KS2, KS3, 11+ and 13+ all the way up to GCSE and A-levels. He tutors children and teens of 10 years + with a maximum of 3 students per group. Aside from subject and grade specific sessions in English, History, RS (Philosophy and Ethics), Classical Civilisation, and Drama, Saul teaches general sessions for kids and adults alike. These include English: 'An Introduction to Shakespeare'; 100 Years of English Literature in an hour', 'How to read a Sonnet' - and 'Cheeky Chaucer'; as well as History brought to life: 'Tyrannical Tudors', 'The Russian Revolution Retold', 'World War 2' and 'International Divisions from 1914 - 1960'; and classic (in translation), 'Introducing The Epic', 'Introducing Ancient Comedy' and 'Introducing Ancient Tragedy’.
