What’s on offer

One-to-one sessions for actors, singers, dancers of any kind and public speakers (see details below)

Personal Performance Coaching: how to embody - and impart - a true sense of presence to help you give your best performance, be that in a business meeting, while pitching to new clients, or at a social gathering.

Group sessions for corporate employees: a movement session of 1-2 hours to help participants operate from their hearts, from where true connection and communication comes. This state of embodied presence enhances our intuition as well as our ability to collaborate, enabling us to find creative solutions that benefit the whole rather than the individual. The techniques that Sarah teaches also bring a sense of well-being to both body and mind, reducing stress and over-thinking, while encouraging clarity and cohesion.

Price: £75 an hour for one-to-ones.

Corporate rates are set after an initial conversation with Sarah about what your company and employees need.

Times: 11am-1pm  MONDAY - FRIDAY (although other times can be discussed)

Email: sarahdaukes@me.com (also PayPal address).

About

Sarah is a former dancer with the Royal Ballet. After graduating from RADA, she worked as an actor in lead roles in theatre companies including RSC, Out Of Joint and Citizens Theatre Company. Sarah currently coaches JPYA singers at the Royal Opera House in movement and performance. She also privately coaches students and professionals and has recently worked with principal dancers of the Royal Ballet.

She specialises in working on physical presence, physical acting, body language, confidence and authentic performance. Her interest lies in drawing out the individual brilliance of the performer.

A one-to-one session with actors, singers, dancers and pubic speakers will look like this:

You will bring to the session a monologue, an aria, a presentation, a character in a play, or a pre-recorded video of you dancing (in rehearsal or performance) that you would like to work on. This can be something that you are currently rehearsing or performing, that you want to evolve, or simply as a medium for the sessions. You will show me your work and I would then get an idea of where you need to go with it. I would see where the blocks are (if any!) and we would begin to open and expand you as a performer. The sessions are a springboard for the rest of your work, which you can incorporate into anything you do.
